The Pirastro Olive Viola strings are popular among the most discerning players.  These have been around a while (decades) but there is good reason why players like them so much.  First, super responsive and super warm sounding.  Just expensive! 

We offer two distinct sets:  Non-stiff or the Stiff. After some trial and error, players know which particular core stiffness and gauge will work best on their viola and the style by which they play.  Again, they all have gut core, then wrapped in some kind of metal alloy (aluminum, silver and/or gold) depending on the string.

To keep things super simple and by far the most popular strings, we offer both Stiff and non-Stiff C, G and D strings in the most desired gauge, medium.
